Three flowers come together in this cyanotype as part of my ongoing exploration of nature and the ways we document and preserve what we encounter.
Cyanotype offers a particularly direct way of working with plants: their physical forms become the source of the image itself, transformed through sunlight and chemistry. I am interested in this meeting between observation and process, and in the way a temporary piece of nature can become a lasting record.
Each cyanotype is handmade and one of a kind.
