The photography nook

My current collection is centered around the concept of ‘human universals’ - the core building blocks of our interactions, cultures and personal identities. I mainly photograph the making of traditional crafts and rituals to explore the meaning attributed to them, the beliefs of a community and its history. My visual documentation and artistic expression is informed by a strong interest in ethnographic studies, anthropology and world history.
