Hampton Court in White Oak — Cyanotype Original

$400.00

This piece began as an experiment—the first time I mixed ink and watercolor into a cyanotype.

I wanted to see what would happen when the deep blue of a traditional cyanotype met the softer, more varied colors of watercolor and ink. What started as an experiment quickly became a technique I fell in love with.

The cyanotype was made using a white oak leaf, with a hand-drawn image of Hampton Court Palace layered into the composition. This was one of those happy accidents in the studio that opened the door to a whole new direction in my work.
